Coach in Vancouver, Canada with the help of Flicka Gymnastics Club
Flicka Gymnastics Club is recruiting 3 gymnastics coaches who are willing to relocate to British Columbia, Canada. We are recruiting for both or Women’s Artistic and Men’s Artistic programs.

 

Out of Country Applicants - Work Visa and Relocation Assistance
Our club will secure the required approvals for a work visa and assist with your relocation. At a minimum, this will include paying for the visa applications fees, flights to Vancouver and arranging initial accommodation here in North Vancouver. For coaches with dependent family members, the club would also support work and school visa applications for partners and children. At the end of the two-year work visa, our club would be willing to support an application for Permanent Residence for coaches and families who would like to continue living in Canada.

 

Applicants from within Canada
Our club is willing to provide relocation assistance for applicants currently working in Canada. This will include paying for flights to Vancouver and arranging initial accommodation here in North Vancouver (for both the applicant and dependent family members).

 

About the Role
The coach will work with high performance gymnastics from developmental stage through to the International level. The High-Performance coach will allow our club to continue to develop and mentor upcoming coaches from Canada and provide athletes with the best opportunity to achieve their goals

 

Salary Range
$50,000 to $75,000. Salary will be based on experience, certification level and education

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement training plan for athletes

  • Motivate and prepare athletes and team for competitions, local, provincial, national and international.

  • Analyze and evaluate athlete and team performance;

  • Develop, plan, and coordinate competition schedules and programs;

  • Participate in coaching clinic instruction;

  • Observe and evaluate prospective athletes level of skills and performance;

  • Mentor and train other coaches

  • Communicate with parents on athlete’s progress

  • Perform other duties related to coaching and developing athletes

Skill Requirements:

  • Combination of experience and certification will be considered

  • NCCP level 3 or 4 certification or international equivalent is preferred

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related area of studies preferred

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience coaching Artistic Gymnastics

  • Event specialist will be considered an asset
