Flicka's Capital Campaign 2025/2026

After decades of nurturing confidence, discipline, and joy in young gymnasts, Flicka Gymnastics is preparing for an exciting new chapter, our move to the historic Mickey McDougall Sports Centre. This move is essential to continue providing a safe, supportive, and high-quality training environment for our growing community.

We need your support to help us upgrade and equip the new space, ensuring that future generations can experience the same opportunities that shaped thousands before them. Join us in honoring our legacy and building a stronger future for Flicka.

BC Amateur Fund

Flicka Gymnastics Club is a non-profit society founded in 1962 by 1960 Olympian Louise Hemingway. Over the years our club has grown from 2 participants to over 2000 participants per year.

At Flicka Gymnastics Club, we consider the child as a whole first and foremost. Our goal is for each athlete to learn confidence, discipline, strength, perseverance and most of all, to be proud of their accomplishments.

We offer pre-school, recreational, special needs and competitive programs. Our goal is to enable every gymnast to attain a realistic and achievable level of personal success in order to promote self-confidence and a lasting enjoyment of the sport of gymnastics.

While our operating expenses increase every year, we would like to make sure that we continue to safely provide our inclusive programs at an affordable rate to everyone, young and old, who wish to keep active and healthy!
