The Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, visited North Vancouver City Hall on August 17 to announce $2.2 million in funding to retrofit the Mickey McDougall Community Recreation Centre as part of The Canada Green Buildings Strategy.

Gymnastics, hockey, swimming, lacrosse to stay at aging facility until new community rec centre's planned opening in 2025.
